Directions for uploading images with a Macintosh. OS 9 - Jaguar OS X - Panther OS X.3

Follow the instructions below for your specific operating system.

Mac OS 9 Users

My server is now requiring webDAV. Please follow the link below and install "Goliath". It is a simple application from Macintosh that enables you to reach my server quickly and efficiently. Basically, it is an FTP application.

Scroll down to: Downloads

Go to: Classic Mac OS

Click on the download link - install & then reboot

Open the application

Fill in the username: aknyc (case sensitive)

And password: public (case sensitive)

An additional hard drive will eventually pop up on your desktop, please be patient, it may take about fifteen seconds. Go to the PUBLIC FOLDER only- drag the image(s) that you want to load into the Public Folder.

Please wait until the upload bar is completely finished, and it closes itself out. It does take some time to upload files - approximately 15 minutes for a 28 MB file via Cable or DSL. When finished, control-click on the idisk to disconnect, or drag it to the trashcan. Please do not open up files from the server…it can cause corruption…thanks
  

Jaguar OS X

Go to the "Go" option in the finder - scroll down to "idisk" - A username and password box will appear. Enter password: public (case sensitive) and the username: aknyc (case sensitive) - A hard drive will eventually pop up on your desktop, or your main Finder window, please be patient, it may take about fifteen seconds to connect. Go to the PUBLIC FOLDER only - drag the image(s) that you want to load into the Public Folder.
